My son and daughter are now in elementary school, but they and I have wonderful memories of the years that they spent going to Ly's house. My daughter started in Ly's home daycare when she was one year old. A year later, my son was born and he went to Ly's as well. Those were particularly sweet years when both kids were at Ly's together.I will never forget the first time I met Ly. My daughter and I were visiting the daycare for the first time, getting to see the space and learn about the daily routine. Ly explained the schedule she keeps for the kids and described all the homemade cooking she does. The most impressive thing, though, was when Ly sat down on the rug to play with the children in her care. Immediately, two little girls crawled over and climbed up into Ly's lap. It was clear to me how happy these girls were and how much they loved being with Ly. My children's fondest memories include playing in the great backyard, eating Ly's yummy food, doing arts and crafts projects, and being with friends at Ly's house. I always appreciated the detailed report Ly gave me at pick-up each day. She told me everything from how long each child napped to what they did/did not eat to a funny thing that happened. Ly is a good communicator because she is honest and thoughtful. Additionally, Ly has wonderful common sense and years (decades!) of experience taking care of children. We still feel fortunate that we found Ly Perry and that she was such a big part of our children's young childhood. Julia S
My son is currently attending Ly's daycare! We love how she makes us feel like we are a part of her family! She's great with all of the kids in her care!! I have NO problem dropping my ONLY baby off to be in her care everyday. Ly is very informative and I love getting picture and funny saying updates of my son during the day!! The first day back to work from maternity leave was the hardest! I hated the idea of leaving my son, but mommy had to go back to work. Ly made this transition much easier, she sent me updates and pictures throughout the day! And always assured me that I could check in as much as I needed, that she understood the feeling. My son has been going to Rainbow Dreams Family Daycare for 6 months now and I believe his sociable personality can be attributed to daycare. I am confident that my son is well taken care of while in daycare as well as having fun.

My daughter's been going here for over 2 years now, and absolutely loves it. I couldn't imagine a better daycare to send her to! Ly's taken her many years of experience and turned them into a warm environment that mixes learning and fun.
There are many different toys and pretend-play items, and the kids enjoy plenty of time outside in her large backyard and occasional field trips to Spy Pond park. They also follow a curriculum that's tailored to each age range and focused on particular colors, shapes, letters, numbers, and words each month. Ly integrates them into their daily activities and makes learning fun for them! She also tries to incorporate different cultures on a regular basis through music, meals, and stories. Who knew you could get a 2 year old to eat so many ethnic dishes?
Ly's consistently been a great resource to me as a new parent- she provides regular status updates/progress reports, and takes the time to answer any questions I have and offer advice on anything from teething to potty training! Her experience has been such an asset- she knows all of the tell-tale signs of various development stages and illnesses, which has helped me to be proactive. Mike also brings a ton of experience and insights to the table, and is just as helpful.
Above all, it's clear that Ly truly loves the work she does. She treats each child as if they were her own, and as a mother, it's amazing to see that bond and know that my daughter is in good hands, happy, and loved while I'm at work every day.

My son has been going to Ly for the past 3 years. He started there at 3 months old. Ly always gives us a daily update on how he was that day and if anything big happened (good or bad). When he was little she helped us with starting solids, using a sippy cup, potty training and lots of positive encouragement and support. She does crafts with the kids as well as special projects around holidays. My son loves playing in her large back yard and going on walks with the other kids!
